Bundesliga round 4: results, scorers and table

Borussia Dortmund remain the only side with a perfect record in the Bundesliga after round 4. Maximilian Beier's goal secured a 1-0 win away at VfB Stuttgart, taking Dortmund to 12 points.

The highest-scoring game of the round came in Mönchengladbach, where Borussia Mönchengladbach lost 3-4 at home to FSV Mainz 05 in a seven-goal thriller settled by a stoppage-time penalty.

Hamburger SV 2-1 FC Köln Nicolás Capaldo opened the scoring in the 44th minute, and Yussuf Poulsen doubled the lead in the 49th. Ragnar Ache pulled one back for Köln in the 90th minute, too late to change the outcome.

Eintracht Frankfurt 2-2 SC Freiburg Younes Ebnoutalib put Frankfurt ahead in the 10th minute, before Derry Scherhant equalised for Freiburg in the 34th. Jonathan Burkardt restored the home side's lead in the 36th, but Yuito Suzuki levelled again in the 48th.

Borussia Mönchengladbach 3-4 FSV Mainz 05 Florian Neuhaus opened the scoring in the 11th minute, but Mainz hit back through Phillip Tietz (18') and Sheraldo Becker (45+1'). Isac Lidberg equalised in the 59th minute, before Eric Martel (78') and Danny da Costa (89') put Mainz 2-4 up. Shuto Machino scored a penalty in the 90+5th minute, but it wasn't enough.

Werder Bremen 3-2 FC Augsburg Augsburg went ahead through Robin Fellhauer in the 18th minute and doubled their lead with Calvin Brackelmann in the 58th. Bremen fought back with Marco Grüll (66'), equalised through Niclas Füllkrug (86') and completed the comeback via Mitchell Weiser in the 90+3rd minute.

VfB Stuttgart 0-1 Borussia Dortmund Maximilian Beier scored the only goal of the game in the 70th minute.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen 2-0 RB Leipzig Patrik Schick broke the deadlock in the 44th minute, and Miguel Gutiérrez added a second in the 57th.

Paderborn 3-1 TSG Hoffenheim Paderborn raced ahead through Santiago Castañeda (29') and Stefano Marino (42'). Adam Daghim pulled one back for Hoffenheim in the 50th minute, but Steffen Tigges sealed the win in the 69th.
