Bayer 04 Leverkusen beat RB Leipzig 2-0 at the BayArena in matchday 4 of the Bundesliga. Patrik Schick and Miguel Gutiérrez were on target, scoring in the 44th and 57th minutes respectively.

The match

RB Leipzig picked up an early booking when Antonio Nusa was cautioned in the 11th minute. The away side made a change in the 26th minute, bringing on Tidiam Gomis for Brajan Gruda. A VAR check involving Christopher Nkunku followed in the 34th minute.
