Borussia Dortmund 2-2 Werder Bremen: Füllkrug's 93rd-minute strike seals dramatic draw

Dortmund led 2-0 after goals in the 80th and 85th minutes, but Werder Bremen fought back with Reis and Füllkrug for a 2-2 draw in stoppage time.

The match

Borussia Dortmund broke the deadlock in the 80th minute. Five minutes later Nico Schlotterbeck doubled the lead, finishing off an assist from substitute Joey Veerman, who had just come on. The 2-0 scoreline looked set to hold.

Werder Bremen responded quickly. Ludovit Reis pulled one back in the 88th minute, set up by Oskar Wójcik. Then, deep into stoppage time, Niclas Füllkrug equalised in the 90+3rd minute to make it 2-2.

The closing stages were heated, with four yellow cards shown: Dariusz Stalmach in the 90th minute, Joey Veerman in the 90+2nd, Felix Nmecha in the 90+4th and Daniel Thioune in the 90+8th.
