No goals at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero in the early Sunday kick-off (13:00 UK / 14:00 CEST) of LaLiga's matchday 8. Elche and Celta de Vigo shared the points in a scoreless draw.
The match
The first caution came in the 37th minute, a yellow card for Celta de Vigo's Yoel Lago. In the 59th minute, Javi Rueda was also booked for the visitors.
In the 60th minute, both sides made a substitution: Celta de Vigo brought on Borja Iglesias for Pablo Durán, while Elche introduced Abiel Osorio in place of Tete Morente.
The 71st minute saw a flurry of changes. Celta de Vigo replaced Javi Galán, Hugo Álvarez and Ferran Jutglà with Sergio Carreira, Couhaib Driouech and Williot Swedberg respectively. Elche made two swaps too, Fer Niño off for Lucas Cepeda and Gonzalo Villar off for Martim Neto.
